Aviwe Ncekese, an 18-year-old South African student who was declared a few days ago, has found dead and half-naked at Grwarhu Location in the Eastern Cape.

The body of the 18-year-old Grade 11 student was reportedly found in the bushes with her school bag opened, and a condom was lying next to her.

Although there have been no arrests so far, the police have opened a murder docket and are looking into the possibility of sexual assault.

The community is still in shock while they await the postmortem results to establish the cause of her death.
