Last photo of woman hanging outside train for a picture before falling and smashing her head on rocks

In an unfortunate event, a tourist woman succumbing to death while taking a selfie fell off a train while leaning out on a famous train track, met with injuries from compromise with a rock.

According to reports from the Sri Lankan news site Daily Mirror, she is 53 years of age and has been identified as Olga Perminova, a Russian tourist traveling on the famous Podi Menike train.

The train runs on a scenic 300 km route from Colombo Fort to Badulla in Sri Lanka and has several sites along the way.

In a police report, Perminova has been mentioned to have collided with a rock on the side of the train, resulting in her falling off and suffering traumatic injuries.

The train heading towards the Colombo Fort was between the Badulla and Hali Ela railway stations when this incident happened.

Before the dying moment, the snapshots captured on camera show Olga Perminova in a pink dress hanging from the train’s footboard.

Emergency treatment was provided to her, but she is said to have succumbed to her head injuries while in the hospital.

She was on the travel with a Russian tour group; arrangements are being made for repatriating her corpse to Russia.
