President Zelensky to visit the White House as the US and Ukraine agree to hold a trade deal

Ukraine has agreed to turn over revenue from some of its mineral resources to the US in a deal that comes after intense pressure and threats from Donald Trump.

The final details of the deal is yet to be made known. The benefits that Ukraine will get from this deal has not been openly discussed yet.

Zelensky has been known to repeatedly press and negotiate for the security of Ukraine even if it is in exchange for the mineral rights of the country.

According to sources, the current deal offers no security to Ukraine as Donald Trump is seeking payback for the military aid the US offered to Kyiv during the Russia-Ukraine war.
