Full list of countries that do not need visa to visit Canada in 2025 released
The Visa-Exempt Entry program in Canada allows citizens of certain countries to visit Canada for business or vacation for at least 30 days and at most 90.
Citizens of these countries require just a passport to travel into the country and enjoy their stay for a validity period between 30 to 90 days depending on their country.
Out of the 69 countries that can enter Canada without a visa, only three (3) are from Africa. 10 Asian countries are also allowed to visit Canada without requiring a visa.
In Europe, 26 countries are given the green light to enter the country with their passport only. The list also includes countries from North America, Oceania, and South America.

- Falkland Islands (Malvinas)

- British Subject with a right of abode in the United Kingdom

- Hong Kong; the Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China must have a passport issued by Hong Kong SAR.

The countries above need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to board their flight to Canada. However, these travelers do not need an eTA if entering by land or sea – for instance driving from the U.S. or coming by bus, train, or boat, including cruise ship.
