Mental patient escapes from New York hospital, cops warn locals “do not approach him”

A mental patient is on the loose after he made a dash for freedom from an Orange County hospital Thursday afternoon and cops warned the public to stay away from the escapee.

Christopher Morgan fled from the Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown around 2:40 p.m., according to the New York State Police.

Christopher R. Morgan’s escape was revealed after surveillance footage showed him fleeing from the Garnet Health Medical Center.

Police said Christopher was last seen wearing a long white jacket. “If you see Morgan, do not approach him,” police warned locals.
