UAE to invest $1.4 trillion in the US after meeting with President Trump

United Arab Emirates (UAE) has committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment initiative in the United States following a meeting between top UAE officials and President Trump.

The agreement was reached during discussions in the Oval Office and a subsequent dinner with U.S. officials and the UAE delegation.

The White House reported on Friday that President Trump hosted the UAE National Security Advisor, HH Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed, on Tuesday for a meeting in the Oval Office followed by dinner with Vice President Vance and several members of the Cabinet.

The UAE National Security Advisor, visiting Washington at the direction of the UAE President, HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, was joined by an extensive delegation including the heads of major UAE Sovereign Wealth Funds and corporations.

The new framework seeks to substantially increase the UAE’s existing investments in the U.S. economy in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and American manufacturing.
