Trump revokes security clearances of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and several other opponents

President Trump revoked the security clearances for many top Democrats and other political opponents including former President Joe Biden, former Vice President Kamala Harris, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In a memo released by the White House on Friday, it read: “I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to access classified information: Antony Blinken, Jacob Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Andrew Weissmann, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Cheney, Kamala Harris, Adam Kinzinger, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, Joseph R. Biden Jr., and any other member of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s family.”

Trump revokes security clearances of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and several other opponents

In addition to having their security clearances revoked, the individuals listed in Trump’s memorandum have had their “unescorted access to secure United States Government facilities” rescinded.

Earlier this week, Trump revoked the security details of Hunter Biden and Ashley Biden. Hunter and Ashley’s security detail were supposed to be eliminated after Joe Biden was removed from office but an executive order signed by the former president extended it.
