Akua of GMB demands an apology and retraction statement from GHPage for defamatory or face the law.

-Ms. Sally Akua Amoakowaa has taken a legal action against GHPage media.

-The popular media website, GHPage, made an article about Ms. Sally which according to her, was a defamatory publication.

-She is therefore demanding for a retraction statement, an apology and also delete the defamatory publication.

Sally Akua Amoakowaa, also recognised as Akua GMB is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and TV personality.

Akua shot to fame in 2011 when she was crowned the Ghana’s Most Beautiful winner in TV3 beauty pageant’s sixth edition.

Most Ghanaians also recognise her for her union with Dr. Kwaku Oteng, a business mogul in Ghana.

Akua has released a statement on Instagram as she seeks for an apology and retraction statement from GHPage media which published false news about her.

The media website’s publication misleaded a post on the Instagram page of Akua which falsely directed its attention on Captain Smart.

Akua’s Instagram post was only just about a bible verse which talks about humility and pride in James 4:6.

However, the GHPage media maliciously published defamatory statement against Ms. Sally, with the caption, “Humble yourself, arrogance won’t take you anywhere – Akua GMB.” Which in the statement, drew the attention to Captain Smart.

Therefore, Akua Amoakowaa is instructing GHPage media to do the needful by issuing a statement of apology and retraction on their website within 48 hours.

According to the lawyers of Ms. Sally, she intends to exercise her full rights under the law if the media page refuses to do as requested.
