Arthur Newton Rupe was an American music executive and record producer. He was the owner of Specialty Records.

The cause of death of Art Rupe is not known yet. He is however believed to have died due to a natural cause of old age.
Art Rupe died in his house on April 15, 2022, in Santa Barbara, California. He was 104 years at the time of his death.
He was a record producer. He recorded different genres of music including gospel and secular music.
Art worked with various artists including Lloyd Price, Fat Domino, Sister Wynona Carr, and Sam Cooke.
He started Juke Box Records with Ben Siegert in 1944 but they broke off later that year.
In 1945 he started his record label, Speciality Records. He stopped producing music in 1960 and later sold Speciality Records in 1991 to Fantasy records.
He always credited his success in the industry to his ability instead of business skills. He also set up a philanthropic foundation, Arthur N. Rupe Foundation.
