One of the fastest rising Ghanaian musician, Okesse1 indirectly sends a message to the board of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), calling it a fraud scheme.
Despite most of his songs being played in almost every party and occasion’s, Okesse1 did not bag any nomination in this year’s VGMA, not to talk of winning any award.
In a post he shared on Instagram, the ‘Na today’ hit maker made it seemed like he is supposed to be in any award scheme both local and international.
“Awards without Okesse1 is a fraud scheme #FACTS #UNAPOLOGETIC #GUCCI @gucci #AMOTIAGENG.” He wrote.
Frank Afrane, as he is officially called, made his way to the music limelight after the release of his debut song, ‘Yie yie’ back in 2020.
Most Ghanaian drill music lovers known him to be a member of the popular AMG group as he started his music from the camp.
Due to some circumstances which is yet to be discovered, Okesse1 formed his own group named, ‘Amotia gang’.
At some point in time, he engaged in brawls with his former best friend AMG Medikal who also hails from the AMG camp.
