Canadian stores begin to remove of American wine and liquor from the shops

In light of the recent Trade War initiated America and Donald Trump against Canada, China and Mexico, Canada has decided to fight back and retaliate.

A video going viral online shows LCBO, a wine and liquor shop in Ontario, Canada, is removing all American wines and bourbon from the shelves and isles in their shop.

In a news release by the company, LCBO stated that “LCBO is the importer of record for all U.S. alcohol products into Ontario, with annual sales of up to $965 million.”

“We currently list more than 3,600 products from 35 U.S. states. U.S. products will not be purchased by LCBO until the LCBO is directed to resume normal business.”

LCBO also made a post on their Instagram where they stated that they will not be selling any American product online or in store until these tarrifs are removed by America.

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister for Canada Justin Trudeau, stated that with immediate effect, Canada will impose a 25% tarrif on all American goods in its attempt to fight the war started by Trump.
