Christian McCaffrey, a running back with the National Football League’s Carolina Panthers, was born on June 7, 1996. (NFL). In the 2017 NFL Draft, the Panthers selected him with the eighth overall pick after he played college football for Stanford.

In 2015, McCaffrey was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy and was named the AP College Football Player of the Year. With 3,864 yards for all purposes during a season, he now owns the NCAA record.

In 2019, McCaffrey became one of only three players to ever get 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in the same season. He did this by breaking multiple NFL and Panthers franchise records.

He spent his freshman year at Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado, and the remainder of his high school career at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

He was a punter, wide receiver, cornerback, and running back. His total touchdowns (141), all-purpose yards (8,845), touchdown receptions and single season all-purpose yards (3,032) are all career highs.( In both 2012 and 2013, he represented Colorado as the Gatorade Football Player of the Year. He played basketball as well.
