Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal in his side’s last preparation game against Israel ahead of the European Championship.
Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandez Strike from a Jao Cancelo assist in the 42nd minute to give Portugal the much deserved lead before setting up Ronaldo to double it with a powerful right foot Strike to the top corner late in the first half.
It was looking like the game could end with the only two first half goals with Israel’s stubborn defense being able to contain the experience Portuguese attackers until two quick fire goals from Man City Right back Jao Cancelo and Bruno Fernandez in the 86th and 90th minute respectively put the game to bed.
Ronaldo’s strike means, he has now scored 104 goals on the international stage, only 5 behind former Iranian professional footballer, Ali Daei who has scored the most goals in the history of men’s international football with 109 strikes during his playing days.
Portugal are in good shape going into the tournament as defending Champions and it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if the Juventus forward walk into the Euro’s and came out being the All Time international goal Scorer .
