A recent death in an assisted living facility in Los Angeles has resulted in the cause of death of actress Dawn Wells.

The 82-year-old, who was best known for her role on Gilligan’s Island, died of complications related to COVID-19.

Though she had a long list of acting credits, she is best remembered for her role as Mary Ann Summers.

She had previously worked as a pageant queen, motivational speaker, and a teacher. She was also involved in several charities.

The cause of death of Dawn Wells remains unknown.

Her publicist claims that the actress died of a novel coronavirus at the age of 82. She was 82 years old.

Her obituary was not what she would have read, but a representative for the family has reached out to her representative to obtain more information on the actress’ health history and issues.

She was born on October 18, 1938, and died in Los Angeles on December 30, 2020.

Besides acting, Wells had an interesting life outside of her career.

In addition to television and film, she was also a voice actress.

She starred in two web series and voiced the character Gumbalina Toothington in the Captain Underpants cartoon.

She is survived by her stepsister, Weslee Wells.

Fellow celebrities, such as Jane Lynch and Dan Savage, have also shared their condolences over her death.
