DJ Lamiez have finally reacted about her unpleasant experience where she was violated by fans.
Most South Africans know DJ Lamiez as a live AMP presenter on SABC1 and Metro FM host. She was born in Pretoria.
On Saturday, May 15, the DJ and wife of rapper, Khuli Chana, were surrounded by overcrowded fans who were seen touching and pulling her hair which seemed like harassment.
The unpleasant incidence took place while they were at a gig in Zeerust, North West.
In reacting to the video of her harassment, DJ Lamiez took to Twitter as she expressed her anger and frustration about the issue.
“I’ve had 2deal with alot of chaos at gigs(as patiently as possible) But I need you to help me make sense of som1 legit PULLING MY HAIR whilst one or two others touched my bum as security tried to escort me out. In the 11years that I have done this I have never felt so violated.”
According to her, not even 8 bodyguards were able to protect her from being harassed in that manner.
“8 bodyguards and even that wasn’t enough! I love what I do but I hate what it comes with. People forget that you’re human and instead treat you like an object!” She wrote among other series of tweets.
I hope this never happens to anyone. Lamiez has every right to be angry bc wtf ??? pic.twitter.com/nPkTlEdzSp— ᴷᵉʸᵃ ᵐᵃʲⁱᵗᵉⁿᵍ (@Ronald_raps) May 16, 2021
