Juan Alberto “Juancho” Hernangómez Geuer is a Spanish professional basketball player and an actor. He plays for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is also a player in the Spain national team.

Juancho was born on 28 September 1995 in Madrid. Coming from a family of basketball players, he began playing competitive basketball in 2007, with the youth teams of CB Las Rozas. He joined a youth squad of Real Madrid and played with the team until moving to Club Baloncesto Majadahonda for the following years.

In 2012, Hernangómez signed his first professional contract with CB Estudiantes and competed with their second team until 2014, when he was promoted to the main team. He signed a contract with Denver Nuggets. He was also traded in 2020 to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

On 25 August 2021, Hernangómez and Jarrett Culver were traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Patrick Beverley. Memphis Grizzlies also traded him to Boston Celtics that same year. On 19 January 2022, Hernangómez was traded to the San Antonio Spurs before finally being traded to Utah Jazz in 2022.

Juancho made his debut for the under-18 Spain national basketball team in 2013. In 2015, he joined the under-20 team. He was promoted to the senior team in 2017.
