Ghanaian Media personality, Berla Mundi has asked young persons seeking to intern with companies not to pay any money to be offered the opportunity to do so.
In an interview with thw1957news, Berla Mundi indicated that it is most unfair to ask persons to do their internships with a company to pay because most of such persons are students or people who have just graduated from school and so don’t have any form of financial stability.
According to the TV show host, the best thing to do is for people to offer spiring interns free opportunities to do so in order to build their skills and be ready for the job market.
She added that it is one of the only ways owners of these companies or those in authority can help in the development of these young ones.
She also said that when people are given such free opportunities to intern and they later succeed in their careers, they will be proud to mention the people who offered them the learning opportunity.
