A final autopsy report will be released within two weeks detailing the cause of death of Miami Beach DJ Erick Morillo. The 49-year-old died after succumbing to acute ketamine toxicity.
In August, he was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery, and he was found dead in his home on 1 September.
Local police officials said that there were no signs of foul play, but a subsequent investigation revealed that drugs were likely to be a factor.
The initial report reveals that Morillo’s cause of death was acute ketamine toxicity. Cocaine and MDMA were also found in the DJ’s system.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, but a preliminary autopsy concluded that he died from acute ketamine toxicity.
