Fire Service Went to Quench Makola Fire Without Water in their Fire Tender Vehicle

This morning Ghana was hit with yet another tragic news, some shops inside Makola Market in Accra were in flames.

The cause of the fire remains unclear but videos available shows smoke engulfing the whole area with people standing from a distance watching as the fire sweeps through the stores in he storey building.

Hours after the devastating news, narrative have it that at the time of the fire, when Fire service were called on to come attend to the accident, the vehicles they came with had no water in them to help quench the fire.

This is however not the first time issue of this nature is reported.

Many have said that in critical time of calling on National Fire Service to help quench devastating fires, they do come with no water in their tanks.
