One of the best talents in racing sports history is the 24 years old guy from Italy, Francesco Bagnaia affectionately called Pecco. The solo motorcycle racer was born on the 24th day of January 1997 in Turin, Italy.
He has been competing in the MotoGP for his Ducati Lenovo team. He has been racing with the number 63 bike and has chalked a number of successes which includes the 2018 Moto2 world champion after a victory in 8 hot contested races.
That made him a VR46 academy second racer after Franco Morbidelli to win a world title.
During the 2009 European MiniGP championship in Minimoto, he became the ultimate winner and he made his pre-GP 125 Mediterranean championship racing the following year and completed the race in second place with his team the Monlau competicion.
He rode the Honda NSF25OR in a stiff competition with the likes of of Alex Marquez and Luca Amato in 2012 and completed the race in third position with three podiums in seven races.
He partnered Romano Fenati to ride in his first race in the Grand Prix debut with team Italia FMI in 2013 and wasn’t successful in that race as he finished 16th in the 17 races he competed in at Sepang.
The following year he changed his team to join the Sky Racing Team by VR46 riding his old partner Romano Fenati. Although things also didn’t go well but he managed to build his racing skill and switched bikes from Honda to KTM.
He finished the top ten five consecutive times in the beginning of the 7 races with a 4th place finish at Le Mans and created the race fastest lap.
In Qatar, the season was opened with a win in a massive domination by leading from start to finish. He won the second time in a highly contested race with Alex Marquez which he managed to set the fastest lap race with 2.4 seconds gap.
In 2021, he is estimated at $1 Million – $5 Million
He is currently not married and has no children
