-Ras Oheneba Nkrabea was part of those who took Achimota School to court for refusing to give admission to their Rastafarian children.

Journalist Gary Al Smith has taken time to celebrate the resilience of Oheneba Nkrabea for staying with his son through the tussle with Achimota School.
Nkrabea’s son was one of the two Rastafarian kids Achimota School directed to cut their Rasta or forfeit their admission to the school.
The matter was taken to court and the court finally ruled that Achimota School have no basis of denying the students admission hence they should do so immediately.
Gary Al Smith in a long post on Facebook said, Oheneba Nkrabea deserves some applause because he stayed with his son in all the struggle.
He added that in some instances, Oheneba Nkrabea would have given up the fight and search for a different school for his son but as resolute in making sure there is a way for his son in his preferred school.
Gary further stated, judging from how fathers are not celebrated enough Oheneba Nkrabea and Tyrone Mharguy’s father who was also one of the fathers of the Rastafarian kids deserved some commendation.
