Ghanaian visual artiste and painter, Amoako Boafo is set to become the first African to have his work flown into space for exhibition .
The 39 year old Vienna based artiste’s painting is set to be displayed on the fuselage of the rocket ship of American Billionaire and Amazon owner , Jeff Bezos.
Amoako Boafo was born in Ghana in 1984 but currently resides in Vienna in Austria. He is known for illustrating captivating images of black bodies and bringing meaning and life to his craft .
He is also regarded as a contemporary artiste who finds intriguing ways to blend modern day art with vintage African culture.
