Jackline Acheampong known professionally as Gyakie is among the fast rising Artiste currently in Africa.
The singer in a short time has niche some good name for herself within the music space.
Born in Kumasi the Ashanti Regional Capital on December 16th 1998 Gyakie as she is known now is the daughter of Ghanaian highlife legend Nana Acheampong.
Her father needs no introduction as he has produced some of the most played music in Ghana of all time.
Gyakie began schooling at the Ashanti Region, she is an old student of Islamic senior high in Kumasi known as T.I Amass.
Gyakie is currently reading International business in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology located in Kumasi.
When asked in recent interview how she manages schooling and doing music, Gyakie said it’s a difficult task but she is trying.
Born to a father who is a top notch musician, Gyakie began singing as early as age 8.
Professionally, she released her first single; titled “Love is Pretty” in February 2019 and went on to to release another single, “Never Like This.”
She went a step further by releasing a 5 track EP titled “Seed” in August 2020.
This EP blew her to music lovers since It came with her hit song “Forever”.
“Forever” after it was released has done amazingly well roping charts beyond Ghana.
This made it possible for her to do a remix of the song with Nigerian singer Omah Lay.

Gyakie’s boyfriend is currently unknown as she has maintained she want to focus on schooling and doing music.
When she announced that she was about releasing “Forever” remix with Omah Lay, critics did it wasn’t necessary as the original song was already enjoying airplay but the remix has propelled Gyakie to a height where she is enjoying massive recognition globally now.
With respect to enjoying fame, Gyakie has said some of things she loved doing like buying Gari and beans locally known in Ghana as “Gob3” because she is a celebrity now.
Gyakie was nominated as the new Artiste of the year at the 22nd Vodafone Ghana myosin award and her EP “Seed” also nominated as the EP of the Year.
Gyakie has signed an international record deal with Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music Africa and RCA records UK
