Netherlands International, Georgino Wijnaldum has completed a move away from English Side Liverpool to PSG on a contract that runs until 2024.
After a season at Newcastle United, Wijnaldum joined Liverpool FC in the summer of 2016 and played a vital role in his side winning the 2019 UEFA Champions and a Premier League crown in 2019-2020.
He made 237 appearances and scored 22 goals for the Reds, also lifting the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2020.
Following the expiration of his contract, he was heavily linked with a move to Spanish Giants Barcelona with his former International coach Ronald Koeman keen to land the 30 years old free agent.
Things took a dramatic turn as rumors came out the French heavyweight hijacked the move. Fast forward it has been made official and Wijnaldum is now a PSG player until June 30, 2024.
The player is currently on international duty preparing for the upcoming European Championship and will be unveiled after the tournament.
