Football giants Accra Hearts Of Oak have officially been crowned champions of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians clinched the title on match day 33 with a 1-1 draw so in all they head into the final match against West African Football Academy at Sogakope as Champions.
Despite their title confirmation, they surely won’t like to end the season with a defeat but as we all know a game against the Academy boys especially on their home turf is arguably the most difficult fixture in the league.
Both teams played out an intense first half but remained unhurt with the home side having the best of chances and even came close to taking the only to be denied by the cross bar.
The Academy boys then took a deserving lead through a brilliant free kick in the second half, a goal Hearts failed to reply.
The result will not in anyway play any influence in the League title and Hearts quickly move to put on their branded Title celebration T-shirts just after the final whistle.
