Ibrahim Traore declines offer from Saudi Arabia to build 200 mosques in Burkina Faso

Burkina Faso’s President, Ibrahim Traore, has declined an offer from Saudi Arabia to build 200 mosques in his country.

Ibrahim Traore who is also a Muslim, declined an offer from Saudi Arabia to build 200 mosques in his country.

Instead, Traore suggested that Saudi Arabia invest in schools, hospitals, or businesses that would create jobs for the people of Burkina.

He stated that Burkina Faso already has many empty mosques and that what the country truly needs is development and progress.

He emphasized that Burkina Faso has endured a lot and must move forward to regain independence in all aspects.
