President Akufo Addo has said he’s the most vilified political figure in the history of Ghana.
In a speech during his honorary doctorate at University of Cape Coast last week, the President of Ghana recounted how his opponent sponsored all forms of propaganda against his person.
He said even in the midst of all these, he has put the feelings of others above of his and cannot be true that his administration is suppressing free speech and harassing others.
““I find it ironic that the presidency of a man who has been and continues to be daily the most vilified political figure of his generation can be accused of presiding over a culture of silence”, He said
In the last few weeks, the government has come under fire with some tagging the administration as intolerant and abusing the right of civilians and journalists.
President Akufo Addo has consistently maintained such claims are false and just talks by his opponent to make his government look bad.
