Who is Antonio Inoki?
Kanji Inoki, famously known as Antonio Inoki, born on February 20, 1943 and died on October 1, 2022, was a Japanese professional wrestler, martial artist, politician, and promoter of professional wrestling and mixed martial arts.

On April 4, 1998, Inoki wrestled his retirement against Don Frye and was later inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010.
In the year 1972, Inoki started his promoting career where he founded New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). He remained the owner of NJPW until 2005 where he sold his controlling share in the promotion to the Yuke’s video game company.
