According to CNN, the Alaskan Board of Fisheries and North Pacific Fishery Management Council revealed during the week of October 10, 2022, that the snow crab season has been canceled due to a great decline in the population of the snow crab in the Bering Sea.

Reseacher Benjamin Daly told CNN that, “Snow crab is by far the most abundant of all the Bering Sea crab species that is caught commercially.”

However, the showrunners are yet to give official announcement about Deadliest Catch being canceled.

There, until Discovery gives the official announcement about Deadliest Catch being canceled, fans should expect for Deadliest Catch to return.
