Elizabeth Chase Olsen is an American actress born on February 16, 1989, in Sherman Oaks, California.
She began acting in 1994 at age four. She starred in her debut film role in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011, followed by a role in the horror film Silent House. Olsen received a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination and graduated from New York University two years later.

The twins made their acting debut as infants playing Michelle Tanner on the television series Full House.
At the age of six, Mary-Kate and Ashley began starring together in TV, film, and video projects, which continued to their teenage years. Through their company Dualstar, the Olsens joined the ranks of the wealthiest women in the entertainment industry at a young age.
