Sally Margaret Field (born November 6, 1946) is an actress from the United States. She has won two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress, and nominations for a Tony Award and two British Academy Film Awards, among many more.

Margaret Field (née Morlan; an actress) and Richard Dryden Field raised Sally Field in Pasadena, California. During World War II, her father served in the army. Richard D. Field, a physicist and scholar, is her brother. Her mother married actor and stuntman Jock Mahoney after her parents divorced in 1950. Field claimed in her 2018 memoir that Mahoney sexually molested her as a youngster.

Field was a cheerleader at Portola Middle School and Birmingham High School in Van Nuys as a teenager. Michael Milken, an investor, actress Cindy Williams, and talent agent Michael Ovitz were among her classmates.

News circulated that Field and three members of her family were in a private plane owned by media mogul Mery Griffin when it lost power and aborted takeoff, slamming into parked aircraft.

The incidence occurred in October 29, 1988, at Aspen-Pitkin County Airport at Colorado.

Reports say they all survived with minor injuries, therefore affirms that Sally Field is still alive.
