NFL linebacker Jaylon Ferguson, 26, passed away, according to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens said in a statement issued on Wednesday: “We are very grieved by the unfortunate demise of Jaylon Ferguson. He was a good-natured, courteous young man with a contagious smile.
Who was Jaylon Ferguson?
Outside linebacker and defensive end Jaylon O’Neal Ferguson played American football. He passed away on June 21, 2022. Prior to being selected by the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL) as the 85th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, he played college football for Louisiana Tech University. He later played with the Ravens for three seasons.
Ferguson spent four years playing basketball and football at West Feliciana High School in St. Francisville, Louisiana.
Ferguson and his fiancée Doni Smith had a son and two daughters.
