Kennedy Agyapong Presents USD 100,000 To 37 Military Hospital towards doctors training in India

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has presented USD100,000 to the 37 military Hospital.

The donation is his fulfillment of his promise to cater for the cost of training specialists to manage an ultra-modern Cardiothoracic Centre to be built for the hospital.

On June 22, the MP cut sod to commence works on the an 80 bed Cardiothoracic Centre in honour of a promise he made last year when he donated some medical items including personal protective equipments to hospitals.

A host number of medical technicians will be heading to India to have lessons and The sum will cover the expenses of this persons who will be operating some specialized equipment to be used at the proposed Cardiothoracic Centre at the 37 Military Hospital

The medical personnels includes Lt Col. Kwame Acheampong Adomako – Surgeon, Dr. Gordon Offei-Larbi – Surgeon; SQ LDR. Benjamin Toboh – Cardiologist and Dr. Nana Yaa Kyei-Frimpong – also a Cardiologist.

Another set of members who will be embarking on the training journey are CDR. Titus Enninful – Cardiac Anesthetist; Mr. Melvin Michael Asamoah – Perfusionist; MAJ. Gloria Addae – Cardiac Pharmacist as well as Lois Yarborfo Larbie – Biomedical Engineer.

During the presentation, The highly rated politician disclosed some of his friends are also willing to follow his footsteps and support the project as well.
