“Hold My Hand” is a song by American singer Lady Gaga, published on Interscope Records on May 3, 2022. It’s the first single from the upcoming film Top Gun: Maverick’s soundtrack (2022). Gaga and BloodPop wrote the song as a “love letter to the globe during and after a very difficult time.” She co-produced the music with BloodPop and Benjamin Rice, two of her regular collaborators.

Lady Gaga would be collaborating with the soundtrack for Top Gun: Maverick, according to the rumor website ShowBiz 411.

Other publications, including W magazine, picked up on the rumor.

Gaga began tweeting mysterious comments on Twitter in April 2022, which fans mistook for lyrics of the reported single.

She officially confirmed “Hold My Hand” and its April 27, 2022 release date.

Gaga said she had been working on the song for years and “didn’t even know the various layers it covered across the film’s heart, my own psyche, and the nature of the world we’ve been living in” while writing it during the announcement.

On April 30, a sneak peek of the song was revealed.

“Hold My Hand” is slated to gain playing on adult contemporary and contemporary hit radio stations in the United States a week following its debut on streaming and digital platforms.

Gaga confirmed to a fan on Twitter ahead of the song’s release that it will be featured in the set list of her next stadium tour, The Chromatica Ball.
