Hope Elizabeth “Liza Hanley” Soberano is a Filipino-American actress, model, singer, and endorser.
Liza was born in Santa Clara, California, on January 4, 1998. She grew up in Visalia with her grandparents. Her parents divorced when she was still a child. Later on, she moved to Manila to live with her father.
She began her career as a model when she was 12 years old. At age 13, she was discovered snd managed by Ogie Diaz. She was urged to learn Filipino. Diaz also helped her land her first role in 2011.
Since her debut in 2011, Liza has starred in television series and films including Wansapanataym (2011), Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo (2012), She’s the One (2013), and Must Be… Love (2013).
Her fame came after playing in the romantic comedy television series Forevermore (2014–2015) with Enrique Gil. She has since paired with Gil in the films Just The Way You Are (2015), Everyday I Love You (2015), My Ex and Whys (2017), Alone/Together (2019), and Forevermore (2014), among others.
