Man arrested for threatening to burn down an AI facility of X because he is upset with Musk and Trump
The Ashland City Police Department has arrested a man who threatened to burn down one of Elon Musk’s AI facilities because he was upset with Elon and Donald Trump.
The arrest was made after the police received an anonymous call from someone reporting that their friend, 25-year-old Ethan Paul Early, had made disturbing comments.

Giving more details, the caller told police Early was upset with Elon Musk and Donald Trump and had threatened to burn down one of Musk’s data centers, specifically an AI facility in Memphis, using thermite.

The police then tracked and located Early at his home. Upon questioning him about his intentions, he admitted to making the statements out of frustration with Musk and Trump.
Early expressed regret, saying he got too caught up in politics and felt ashamed for going “too far down the deep end.”
He was arrested, charged, and held on a $500,000 bail. His court date is set for March 12, 2025
