In Sri Lanka, a man disguised himself as a lawyer in order to gain access into a courthouse and shoot a notorious gang leader during the court proceedings.
According to the Sri Lankan police, the gun was smuggled into court in a hollowed out book by a female suspect.

The gang leader known as Ganemulle Sanjeewa, was a suspect in multiple murder cases, was always escorted to court with high security detail when the incident happened.He was pronounced dead by the time he arrived at the hospital.
The suspect fled the scene of the crime but has been arrested by the police. Another suspect who has also been arrested is a van driver who is believed to have assisted the murder. The female suspect is still at large.
