Man dresses as Spiderman to rob gaming store $10,000 worth of trading cards
Not everyone wearing a superhero costume is a superhero. Some are villains disguised as superhero as the suspect in the news today.
A burglary incident occurred at Gaming Giant, a family-owned collectibles store in Fairfax, Virginia, on the night of March 14.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Joel Brown, allegedly broke into the store and stole nearly $10,000 worth of trading cards related to popular anime series, including Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Pokémon.
Brown, who was reportedly wearing a Spider-Man costume at the time of the incident, had previously visited the store during operating hours. He inquired about specific graded cards that were locked in a display case, raising suspicions.

Gaming Giant’s owner reported that Brown returned to the store after hours, broke in, and made off with numerous graded slabs and sealed Pokémon products. The Fairfax Police Department arrested Brown on March 19 and charged him with burglary.
Brown was released on an unsecured bond. The incident highlights the importance of store security and the need for businesses to be vigilant against potential threats.
