Whiles the Bible states emphatically that redemption is free, it sometimes comes at a price. It is a requirement of the Church to cater for their pastor through the payment of tithes, offerings and gifts. But many have accumulated huge wealth with the masses raising concerns as to why it is so.

David Oyedepo is a Nigerian pastor, author,  businessman and philanthropist who was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother. He followed in the steps of his mother who was a member of the seraphim and cherubim eternal order.

The founder of the David Oyedepo Ministries International, which started the Living Faith Church Worldwide among others was born on September 27, 1954 in Osogbo, Osun State.

He was born to Ibrahim and Dorcas Oyedepo. The Preacher man also doubles as the Chancellor of Covenant University, Ota and Landmark University, Omu Aran. In 1969, at age 15 he gave his life to Christ and commenced, preaching with the aid of his secondary school madam, Betty Lasher.

He later schooled studied architecture at Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin and furthered to the United States, University of Honolulu Hawaii where he obtainedd a PhD certificate in human development.

According to the ranking of Forbes, because of the many enterprises he has made, his fortunes exceeded Bishop T.D.

He has private jets, huge mansions and hundreds of cars across.

He has a batch of four expensive Jets which comprises a Gulf Stream V, costing $30 million and literally hundreds of vehicles in his capacity. This also includes the church members who donates vehicles to the church anonymously without anybody’s knowledge
