Mike McDaniel is the head coach of the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL).

To start his coaching career in the NFL, McDaniel worked as an intern for the Denver Broncos in 2005. He was Mike and Kyle Shanahan’s longstanding helper in the past. Throughout his 17-year coaching tenure, he has primarily concentrated on coaching offense.

On February 6, 2022, the Miami Dolphins chose him to be their fourteenth head coach. In 2014, the Cleveland Browns hired the athlete to serve as wide receivers coach under head coach Mike Pettine.

He was appointed as Dan Quinn’s offensive assistant coach by the Atlanta Falcons in 2015. In the 2016 season, the player and the Falcons made it to Super Bowl LI, where they lost to the New England Patriots, 34-28, in overtime. At the half, the Falcons were leading 28-3.
