Ming Tsai is a restaurateur, television personality, and celebrity chef. Tsai has several restaurants all over America.

His restaurants have focused on east-west fusion cuisine, including significant stakes in Blue Ginger in Wellesley, Massachusetts from 1998 to 2017, and Blue Dragon in the Fort Point Channel area of Boston.

Ming Tsai was born on March 29, 1964, in Newport Beach, California. He is the only child of his parents; Iris and Stephen Tsai.

Growing up, Ming attended The Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohia. He has also completed and earned degrees from Yale University, Cornell University, and Le Cordon Bleu.

Ming’s career kickstarted on Cooking Live in 1997. He hosted East Meets West on the Food Network from 1998 to 2003.

In 1998, he opened his first restaurant with his wife, Polly Tsai. The restaurant, Blue Ginger, is an Asian Fusion restaurant that has become a Zagat and James Beard-recognized establishment.

Tsai has also written five cookbooks; Blue Ginger, Simply Ming, Ming’s Master Recipes, Simply Ming: One-Pot Meals, and Simply Ming in Your Kitchen.

He has won several awards and accolades for his work. In 2000, Ming was on the 50 Most Beautiful People list published by People magazine. He has also been inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame.

Ming Tsai Children: Henry Tsai and David Tsai

Henry and David Tsai are the children and sons of Ming Tsai. Aside from his sons, Ming has no other children. He has no daughters.

Ming had children with his wife, Polly Tsai. They have been married since April 1996.

Not much information is known about the children of Ming Tsai. David and Henry like to keep their private lives away from the spotlight. They are recognized only for being the children of Ming Tsai.
