French Midfielder who plays for Chelsea N’Golo Kante has opened up on his future at the London based team in relation to a new contract or if he will be leaving the club.
Kante Join Chelsea from Leicester City 5 seasons ago and his contract with Chelsea is left with Two years. Chelsea are planning to extend it to prevent interest from other big clubs in Europe.
Chelsea are optimistic of extending the contract if he man who was the engine block in their midfield in winning their 2nd champions league.
Speaking in relation to his future at Chelsea Kante said
“I’ve been at Chelsea for five years, I’ve had some great seasons there. I hope to have a lot more,” N’Golo Kante told a press conference, as quoted by RMC Sport.
“It’s not something I’m worrying about. I have two years left on my contract. Chelsea are happy with me and I feel good there.”
Since joining Chelsea in 2016, Kante has won every major trophy, including the Premier League in his first year at the club and the Champions League just over a week ago, as well as the World Cup with France in 2018.
According to Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will offer the 30-year-old a new contract in the coming weeks or months – it’s likely going to be one of the first items on the agenda of Chelsea after N’Golo returns from the Euros.
Kante is with the French National team preparing for the upcoming Euros. He was part of the team which won the World Cup in Russia.
