It is always said that citizens play the most part in helping a nation develop since government can’t do it all alone. This is the clear understanding to a Nigerian man Olusegun Adeniyi who has warmed the hearts of many with his individual efforts to clear less privileged kids out if the street into classrooms.
A Facebook disclosure by Tope Fasua, who happens to be a former presidential aspirant indicates Olusegun Adeniyi has always seen kids in his area at home when their age mates are busy in the classroom learning.
His inquisitiveness got him to realize these kids are ready to step into classrooms and build some educational backgrounds for themselves but has no help to get them through financially.
He took it up on himself and build a school in his Area for the less privileged kids to attend without paying any school fees, he has admitted about 70 pupils as at now according to the source of this report.
“Each one, give a little. This is the school started by a journalist, Mr Segun Adeniyi, near his house in Abuja. He noticed that there were so many children around living in the shanties around, who do not attend schools, so he put up a small shack on one of the lands nearby.
“The shack is growing. The children could be as many as 70 now. They all attend school for free. I was touched. His wife takes time from her insurance job to supervise and teach them. I believe we still have much space for rapprochement if we continue to give. We can triumph.” Tope Fasua wrote in a Facebook post
