Paul Rudd Biography
Paul Rudd (born April 6, 1969) is an actor, screenwriter, and producer from the United States. Before making his acting debut in 1991, he studied theater at the University of Kansas and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Clueless (1995), Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995), Romeo + Juliet (1996), Wet Hot American Summer (2001), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Knocked Up (2007), This Is 40 (2012), Wanderlust (2012), Mute (2018), and Ideal Home (2018) are some of Rudd’s notable films (2018).
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he has also portrayed Ant-Man in Ant-Man (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), and the Disney+ animated series What If..? (2021). In addition, he will feature in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
Rudd has also starred in various television series, including the NBC comedy Friends as Mike Hannigan, as well as guest parts on Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Reno 911!, and Parks and Recreation, as well as hosting Saturday Night Live on several occasions.
He received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for his dual role in the Netflix comedy series Living with Yourself. In July 2015, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2019, he was listed on the Forbes Celebrity 100.
