President Akufo-Addo has yet again made another gargantua promise to Ghanaians and this time it’s about plans to make jobs available in the country.
The President has stated that plans are underway for his government to create at least one million jobs with in the next 3 years.
The jobs according to the President will be created under the Ghana COVID-19 Alleviation and Revitalization of Enterprises Support (Ghana CARES) program.
“We will through interventions to be set out in the mid-year budget review announce plans for the creation of one million more jobs under the Ghana CARES ‘Obaatanpa’ project over the course of the next 3 years,” he said
He said this while addressing Muslim faithfuls who came in their numbers at at the National Mosque fie this year’s Eid-Al-Adha ceremony.
Meanwhile this is just a tip of the Iceberg and he made it known the finance minister will outline the plans during his mid-year budget presentation in parliament which is set to take place on Thursday 29th July.
