Rodrygo Silva de Goes, simply known as Rodrygo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for the Spanish club Real Madrid and the Brazil national team.
Rodrygo was born on 9 January 2001, in Osasco, São Paulo. He is the only child of his parents.
He began his career with Santos, where he played 80 games and scored 17 goals before a €45 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2019. He was part of the winning team of the 2022 UEFA Champions League campaign.
At the international level, Rodrygo made his senior debut for Brazil in 2019, aged only 18.
Rodrygo is the only son and child of Eric Batista de Goes and Denise Goes.
His father, Eric, is a former footballer.
