Russia attacks President Zelensky’s hometown moments after ceasefire agreement

A few hours after a peace talk and a ceasefire agreement between the US and Ukraine, Russia, and Vladimir Putin have launched another fatal attack on Ukraine, this time targeting the hometown of the country’s president.

A missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, Zelensky’s hometown, killed a 47-year-old woman and injured at least nine others. The strikes hit homes, shops, infrastructure facilities, and schools.

This happened just hours after Ukraine agreed to a U.S.-backed 30-day cease-fire. The US and Ukraine reached an agreement during an eight-hour meeting in Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday Russian authorities also reported that Ukraine targeted Moscow and other cities with a massive drone attack killing three people and injuring several others in the process.
