Multiple award winning Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale has explained in details why he may not be pushing more of reggae genre on his upcoming album.
The SM boss is gearing up for a release of the album he titled ‘Gift Of God’ even though he is yet to announce a particular date that the album will be made available on various platforms for downloads.
Currently, it looked like Shatta is not done with his choice of music genres for the album yet and that simply means there is enough work left to be dine before music lovers can update their playlist with his new tunes.
Looking for recommendations, Shatta Wale ask his followers in a Facebook post if they will like yo see him push more of the reggae genre in the upcoming album.
“Do you guys think l should push more reggae on the #GOGALBULM” he asks
His followers as usual took to his comments section to put across their views and hoping he will put them into action while recording in the studio.
Shatta finally noted his choice as he disclosed one if his close pals Sherif Abdalah who he described as his son opted against the recording of reggae songs on the album. His explanation simply is that, people will claim he smoked wee before hitting the studios
“My son Sherif Abdallah say if l play reggae plenty, dem go talk say so so wee man deh smoke this days” Shatta stated
