Straight woman sues her employer after she lost two jobs to gay colleagues

In America, a straight woman has lost her job twice to her gay colleagues and she is not very happy about it.

Marlean Ames has lost her job twice at the Ohio Department of Youth Services. Ames feels these people were less qualified for the positions they were given instead of her.

Marlene is now trying to sue for discrimination after she found out both of the workers who were employed instead of her were gay. “I was straight and pushed aside,” she told Reuters.

The supreme court is currently assessing to take charge of the case after a federal judge dismissed her suit.

According to the judge, Ames failed to provide “background circumstances” that showed her department was “unusual employer who discriminates against majority.”

The supreme court now seeks to ensure that if the case goes in Marlene’s favor, could lead to an influx of reverse discrimination claims.
