The Ashanti Region’s Benedicta Sarfoa Asamoah was crowned the winner of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful competition.
On October 3, 2021, she was announced the champion in the grand finale held at the National Theatre in Accra. Setor in the Volta Region seconded Sarfoa.
On the 2021 edition of the yearly exhibition, Sarfoa receives a monetary award of 10,000 cedis, a brand new car, a one-year fabric supply from GTP, as well as souvenirs from all the sponsors.
Many people have had high expectations for Sarfoa since day one of the 2021 GMB event, even before she was named the winner on the night.
She gave a presentation about her ‘Agenda Briff’ prison initiative. Sarfoa had also wowed audience members at the National Theatre with her response to her question for the evening, which was about her thoughts on the ban on corporal punishment in schools.
Manu from the Western Region took third place and received a monetary reward of 5,000 cedis.
Wedaga from the Upper East Region took fourth place with 3,000 points.
Akosua from the Oti Region took fifth place and received a cash prize of 2,000 dollars.
Mfodwo, from the Bono Region, took sixth place.
